first time, and for yoeznitha

hehe >< this is my picture for the "online promotion" of "yoeznitha",tenant at moshaict, hijab store, before joining a modeling agency.
I remember, when i went home, after school.. i was still wearing my uniform, and i saw my dear aunty.. she's pretty close to me, and we both love to chit-chat.. and she said that she went to hijab store in Cilandak, South Jakarta before visited me, she was hving a conversation with one of the owner of "yoeznitha". without hesitating, i just spilled out whats inside my brain hahaha! "wud you mind, to tell the owner of  'yoeznitha', that i want to be their model?" then my aunt accept it... she was sending my pictures by bbm to "yoeznitha", and the owner of "yoeznitha" was completely agree and accept me as their model. how thankful.. Alhamdulillah.. this is my debut career as a model tho before joining the muslimah model agency, my first photoshoot was accompanied by the one and only motha <3 hahaha. for now, i'm still a rookie in HIJMI (Hijab Model Indonesia) Alhamdulillah..

monochromatic vintage

you probably think that i'm in love with... lace!
tulle and all the things that contain fluffiness. well... yes i am.
back again with grey poncho i wear it outside my pure-white lace long dress and rolled-up turban with the same color as my poncho.. it's velvet so obviously it's warm enough to keep you from the cold weather on rainy days. and wear it with boots.. i'm wearing Doc.Mart classic black. grey-white-and black are classic all the colors are match with everything.. that's why monochromatic never die. This outfit is simple and really comfortable. Vintage as always~

lacey december

back to december~
i was designing in front of my desk, looking for inspiration after bought the garments. i really enjoy the time when my brain filled up with so many inspiration. what i do is just translating arts into fashion <3 love it! after some process, it's finally done! it was ended up like this

separates into 3 pieces. vintage blouse, tulle vest, and long skirt. you can wear the vest inside and wear the blouse as a cardigan.. that's nice tho.. seems more casual if you wear it with washed-jeans.
if you wear it like this, it seems more formal and it's really suitable for party or any special occasion... and the color is really.. edgy! isn't it? you can feel the vintage feeling when you wear it hahaha! such a dreamy outfit. the atmosphere is different all you do is just spray a classic eu de toilette and you ready to go.. vintage rocks! ps: i sell it too, just contact me :p

hijab inspiration

Hijab Inspiration

details in the fabric

i bought this fabric at “pasar mayestik”, in South Jakarta.
Pasar Mayestik sell so many fabric (almost complete) not only fabric but also buttons! lace! so many things! it’s not hard to found “pasar mayestik” because the location is near by “Gandaria City” mall.
it’s pretty hard to found this type of fabric! why? because:
  • i think it’s unique
  • type of fabric : TULLE!
  • the texture —> appear! so you can feel the texture
  • floral with soft color is pretty hard to find at pasar :p
i want to make something unique with this fabric. my plan is to make a waistcoat/vest. because i’m wearing hijab.. i’ll wear it with a blouse (same color).
fyi, the fabric is a tile.. it’s light.. so better if you use hard layer behind the fabric.
available  in many colors! such as:
  • dust pink
  • broken white
  • grey
  • baby blue
  • mauve
anyway.. i love it! i love the detailinthefabric!
i like to share you all about hijabi-street style. there are so many photos/pictures that i found on tumblr.. fyi i'm more active on tumblr kkk~ ^^ i think blog is quite confusing than tumblr.. well.. that's my opinion, but i neeid to practice more. Anyway.. talking about hijabi-street style i think you don't need put too much effort to it.. to what you wear, what you put on. it's nice to be unique or different in the positive way.. do not put too much accessories for example.. too much layering / shawl etc.. so.. these are some example (pictures) enjoy ^^ hijabi-street style~

i do not own these pictures.. i just found it on tumblr ^^ i just want to share for your inspiration maybe hehehe.. hope these all can help

eye make up experiment

sunglasses : the little things she needs
my eye-makeup experiment . i'm not using eyeshadow but i'm using glossy lip color and eye liner. actually it looks really nice to apply it on your eyes even it's a little bit sticky :$ nice makeup for summer *my opinion*  . i like to make a tutorial video for this lip-gloss eye make up, but until now i have no time because i'm too busy with school summaries x__x fyi . my inspiration is from korean singer, sulli . and i saw her photobook * f(x) - hot summer* and then i tried to imitate her looks hehe.. it's fun! happy trying! -sasa

modeling

i used to became a student of OQ modeling school. OQ modeling school hmm.. well i can tell you it's one of the greatest modeling school in Jakarta. There are some reason why i call it "greatest" because the owner and also the teacher of "OQ" is Okky Asokawati, and everybody knows her! she's an icon! a fashion icon in Indonesia.

Talking about the modeling school~ i got my basic lesson here.. the result was cool to be honest i hv to admit it. they're not only teach about catwalk or how to pose exactly like a supermodel in an editorial photoshoot. They also teach their student how to act. like a model. for example.. body language! there's also an acting class actually. memorized some script or lines... and you hv to repeat it ofc.

One of my teacher here.. is a popular fashion designer, called Robby Tumewu. He teached anything related to fashion. how to dress and how to impress someone trough your attitude.. and 'bout mix-and-match thingy. I'm happy.. satisfied also.. i hv nice friends here and all of the lessons that you got automatically can increase your self confidence. It's a progress!

this is my art work.. i love drawing since.. idk since baby born maybe (?) haha. anyway.. it doesn't take too long to finish this art work!
 i'm using :
  • water color
  • color pencil
  • calligraphy pen
  • markers
  • MAKE UP KIT
yes i'm using my make up kit!  such as powder / pink-brown blush on / brown eye shadow / eyeliner / pearl black eye shadow / fuschia lip-gloss

originally made by me -sasa
